Saturday May 31 -- headed back to San Jose

Sunrise

Most of us got up very early to catch the sunrise though the mist from the top of Mirador Guayacan.

Palo Verde cook

The fantastic cook, aka artisan, caught a ride with us to San Jose and brought this piece along for sale. He's a character -- everyone enjoyed his food, company, and crafts.

Sunday June 1 -- Gold Museum, Gardens

Precolumbian Art

We visited the Precolumbian Gold Museum, Costa Rican history, and currency exhibits to get a tase of history, art, and culture. So many intricate objects.

Gardens

We visited a 6-acre garden full of beautiful native plants, many displaying flowers. The observatory tower was a great spot to get perspective on it all.
